Located in Galesburg, Illinois, Knox College is a four-year, national liberal arts college with 1,300 students from nearly every state and 51 countries. Known for its emphasis on exceptional teaching, Knox faculty provide expert guidance and support to help students take the knowledge gained in the classroom and put it to work in real world, hands-on experiences. The Knox men's soccer team wrapped up the 2017 regular season as co-champions of the Midwest Conference. The Prairie Fire finished with an overall record of 13-2-4 and a Midwest Conference record of 8-0-1.

Knox Women's Soccer Team Wins MWC Tournament, Advances to NCAA Competition

The Knox College Prairie Fire women's soccer team will play on Friday, November 10 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The Prairie Fire earned a spot in this year's NCAA Tournament by winning the Midwest Conference Tournament on November 4, defeating Monmouth College in the championship match.

Academic All-Conference

More than 100 Knox College student-athletes were named to the Midwest Conference's Academic All-Conference list for the 2016-17 academic year and athletic season. The criteria to become an Academic All-Conference selection includes a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.33, which is calculated only in the awarded academic year. First-year students, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who letter in any of the MWC's fall, winter or spring sports are eligible for the award. Several of the honorees were recognized for the academic achievements while playing more than one sport.
