Potter Nets Performer of the Week Honor

Knox College junior forward Morgan Potter (Huntington Beach, CA) averaged a double-double this week in two Midwest Conference (MWC) games and has been named the Conference's Women's Basketball Performer of the Week.

Potter had a big week for the Prairie Fire in a win over Monmouth College and a loss to Ripon College. Against Monmouth, Potter poured in 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. In the losing effort against Ripon, Potter registered a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds giving her averages of 14.5 points and 10 rebounds for the week.

Knox is currently 5-2 on the season, 2-1 in MWC play. Potter is averaging 12.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game on the season. Her field goal percentage of .566 currently places her fourth in the conference. She is also fourth in the league with eight blocked shots.
