Knox Students Elected to Nation's Most Prestigious Academic Honor Society

Kenneth Jon-Edward Bartelt of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, recently was elected to the Knox College chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, which is the nation's most prestigious academic honor society.

Bartelt is among almost 40 Knox students in the Class of 2017 and the Class of 2018 to earn the distinction. Knox's PBK chapter is the fourth oldest in Illinois and the first at an exclusively undergraduate, four-year liberal arts college in the state.
