Evan Berkey '19 of West Lafayette Awarded $3,000 Education Scholarship

Knox College student Evan Berkey '19 of West Lafayette, IN, recently received a $3,000 Sharif Rahman Scholarship to aid his study abroad interests in London, England. Berkey is studying through the Foundation for International Education (FIE)-London program for Fall 2017, with an internship extending until December.

Honoring FIE founder Sharif Rahman, the scholarship recognizes upstanding students with financial need and reflects the organization's stated mission: "to provide high quality educational experiences to the global community driven by the belief that interaction between people of diverse cultures is the base upon which empathy among nations is built."
